2010-02-06 PRI's and WUM's project supported by the EU (POIG 1.1.2)
The consortium project of Pharmaceutical Research Institute (PRI) and Medical University of Warsaw (WUM) entitled Research on innovative endothelium medicine among novel aescin analogues gained financial support under Innovative Economy Operational Programme 2007-2013, submeasure 1.1.2.
There were 129 applications in submeasure 1.1.2, of which only 42 research projects applications have gained financial support. The project entitled Research on innovative endothelium medicine among novel aescin analogues was ranked 6th among all applications. The total cost of project is 7,640,990 PLN (ca. 1,882,000 EUR). Pharmaceutical Research Institute gained the funding of 1,435,000 PLN (ca. 353,000 EUR), including 1,219,750 PLN (ca. 300,000 EUR) from the European Union under European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).
The aim of the project is to invent an innovative endothelium medicine selected from novel aescin analogues and to develop manufacturing technology in the semi-technical scale.
