The Chemistry Department develops generic drugs technologies in a laboratory as well as
in a multigram scale. It cooperates closely with the
Quality Control and Research Analytics Department
to prepare appropriate documentation which meets European requirements. On the basis of
these documents the technology can be implemented in a small plant scale. The Chemistry
Department also performs research work on new potential therapeutics. The chemists
working in the department have extensive knowledge and experience in the field of
organic synthesis, technology and the polymorphism of pharmaceutical substances.
Our services include:
- Literature survey and planning of the synthesis.
- Polymorphism studies.
- The synthesis of the active substance and the optimization of particular synthesis steps.
- Developing the multi-gram scale technology.
- Preparation of the samples of pharmaceutical purity.
- Developing documentation in accordance with the European standards.
