The Pharmacy Department deals with the development of drug dosage form technologies, e.g. granulates, tablets, capsules, injections, ointments, creams, gels, solutions and suspensions for external and internal use. The modern drug formulations such as controlled-release solid dosage forms are also developed. The Department conducts studies on modern carriers of the active substances such as liposomes or polylactide microspheres. The Department also includes a Registration Unit.

Our services include:

  1. Development of oral drug dosage form technologies: granulates, tablets and capsules (from a laboratory scale through ¼-plant scale to manufacturing).
  2. Development of parenteral preparations - both liquid and lyophilized forms (laboratory scale and auditing during scale-up to production).
  3. Development of liquid and semi-liquid forms: ointments, creams, gels, solutions and suspensions (laboratory scale and auditing during scale-up to production).
  4. Ongoing technology modification, troubleshooting assistance at each stage of technology development.
  5. Preparation of registration files in the Common Technical Document (CTD) format.
  6. Contract manufacturing of oral dosage forms at laboratory and ¼-plant scale during technology development modifications.
