The Minisynthesis Department develops new processes for the manufacturing of active
pharmaceutical ingredients (API). It also produces several APIs on a small scale, from
grams to kilograms. The production takes place in dedicated laboratories and is performed
in accordance with GMP rules. Research activities include mainly scaling, optimizing and
validation of manufacturing processes. Technologies developed in the Minisynthesis
Department are used in our production plant or transferred to other pharmaceutical
companies. Our staff is experienced in using aggressive reagents like hydrogen chloride,
hydrogen fluoride, sulfur dioxide, alkyllithium reagents and Grignard reagents.
Our services include:
- Development of API manufacturing processes.
- Production of API in the "kilolab" scale on contract bases.
- Supplying certified active ingredients (API) produced in the Minisynthesis Department:
0.6 MB
Alfacalcidol - Certificate of Suitability
0.2 MB
Calcitriol - Certificate of Suitability
Key equipment of the Minisynthesis Department:
- Glass reactors from 1 to 100 dm3 capacity
- Enamel reactors 200 and 600 dm3
- Filters, centrifuges and driers
- Rotary evaporators from 2 to 203
- Preparative HPLC
- Ozone generator
- Photochemical reactors
